I have been working with people for more than 30 years. Most all of my work has been with people with some form of mental distress. I have worked in the NHS, social services, charitable sector, and more recently in education and privately.
I trained as a psychotherapist fifteen years ago at the Metanoia Institute in Ealing. I trained in integrative psychotherapy, an approach to therapy which foregrounds the relationship the therapist and client build as well as an open and curious attitude to human development and problems. Since then I have also trained in CBT, supervision and group work. I have been supervising trainee and qualified therapists since 2008. In the last few years I have started teaching and training psychotherapists, occasionally at Metanoia, but now as a tutor at the Minster Centre, another integrative training institute in North West London.
I am an integrative psychotherapist registered with the UKCP.
